[B42\B41] Simple Character Creation Menu Expansion

Description
Why wouldn't your character not have a watch? Or earrings?

Simple Character Creation Menu Expansion provides a simple and lightweight addition to the character creation menu, adding in a few "common sense" items as options for your character to spawn in with, namely watches, shoes, earrings and underwear, all in one convenient package. At it's core this expansion seeks to allow anything that most normal citizens in 1990's Kentucky would be wearing as options (that aren't "overpowered") while preventing the bloating the menu like how the All Clothing Unlocked sandbox option does.

Recommended to use with some sort of character retexture mod that doesn't have underwear painted onto them, like mines: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3367043935
Compatible (and recommended) with Vanilla Clothing Expansion (more clothing textures/colors): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3421271152

B41 and B42; may not be compatible with mods that add/remove items from the character creation menu.

Update: B41 support has been dropped, I've decided to no longer maintain/update it but it will still work.

  • Bangles and other shiny things
  • Hats
  • Glasses
  • Certain occupation-specific clothing (e.g. Denim Shirts)

This is exactly what I was looking for. Just the necessary slots, just the essential stuff.

@definitely-mid I'm not sure if it changes, and I didn't check if it was below yours on the priority list. I simply stopped using your mod, but I passed this problem on to the author of the eyewear rework

@Keinori my mod doesn't change any item models at all, do you mean the glasses available in the menu are not the ones available from that mod? If so I think I will try to work some compatibility into the mod when I have the time.

any chance to eyewear rework project compatbility update? your mod replaces the prescription glasses model that eyewear remodels

@definitely-mid it is a trait thing. The Hunter Trait lets you start with a Hunting Vest, Camo Cap and Camo Bonnie Hat

@SDgamer I think that's a vanilla feature? In any case my mod doesn't change its offerings based on any selected traits.

Do traits have influence on what Clothes you can select? When i take Hunter i can chose a Hunting Vest

As you can see it's still a work in progress :spiffo:

@J Taylor I see, I don't think modded items really fit the mod seeing that the mod is about offering a few extra vanilla items (key word: "few") into the menu. The point is to only having things that are likely to be found in someone's house during the time and place of PZ, without making the menu extremely bloated with 13 different items with the name "T-shirt", which is the opposite of the Fashionista mod which really just gives you everything. You can also just used the "All Clothing Unlocked" sandbox option (found in the Character category) since Fashionista hasn't been updated yet.
