Anyway, if there's no mod like that then this should still do fine thanks.
Well again, it depends on the map creator. These are spawns that are set beforehand so it's up to the creator to be placing these away from the flag. I'm guessing that if the alternative spawns aren't detected or something then Ravenfield just spawns them on the flags as a fallback. That or the map creator is literally putting the spawns on the flag for some reason.
I could try making a feature in the mutator that does exactly what you want which is spawning specifically on the outskirts of a flag, but that'd be at my pace.
The vanilla game actually already does something similar to that. There are separate spawns for soldiers put into place when enemy contestants are at a flag. It's just up to the map maker to utilize those separate spawns correctly.
It's more fun when there's resistance while I'm capturing, rather than no one spawning the moment I touch the flag. But I also obviously don't like how quickly a big squad will spawn right on top of me and insta kill me without this mod.
