Extra Books Patch

Description
This patch was made to offer compatibility for Extra Books mod when used in conjunction with my Simple Skill Books mod. Now, one can safely use thse two mods together, without the Extra Books mod's books breaking the design behind Simple Skill Books. I made this as Extra Books mod appears to be a popular mod that adds skill books the vanilla game is lacking. As such, this patch mod tweaks these new books to fall in line with the vanilla books that Simple Skill Books already changes.

Please note, like Simple Skill Books mod, the Extra Books Patch is best added with a fresh game. It still can be added to an existing game, but be sure to burn any skill books that you found prior to adding the patch, as the fix is not retroactive.

To avoid loading issues, make sure to load your mods in the correct order. So add Extra Books mod first, then Simple Skill Books , and finally the patch.

@thanos73 - mostly likely the mod order is out of whack. Make sure you check that this is applied last. Book 1 sghould be quick, but not instant. I'm guessing you have fast reader perk to make it quicker

I am having an issue where I read a a simple skill book and it instantly reads but get no XP boost. The instantly reads issue happens on all books but the XP issue only applies to this mos books. Any ideas?

@Narebox - Yeah, I wrote that comment initially when the patch idea was a new thing, but it turns out the load order is not really a problem, as Simple Skill Books will sort them out regardless. It's still good practice (some mods do require a load order), but not essential in this case.

I've popped it up in the description for now, but it'll prolly be deleted with updates XD

@LumberingTroll - , Please note that this mod is designed to make Extra Books compatible with my Simple Skill Books mod.

EDIT - As per your request, I have made a Driving Skill Patch mod for the B42 version of Driving Skill , and a Scavenger Skill Patch mod for the B42 version of Scavenger Skill by Afterworld. I also made a Lifestyle: Hobbies Patch mod for the B42 version of Lifestyle: Hobbies by Angry.

These are all available in my workshop.

@GarglingGlass - Yeah, my bad. Unlike Rimworld , Project Zomboid doesn't have in-game dependency flags, so I forgot to add them here. Thanks for the reminder.
