Self-Destructive Zeds

Description
Introduction
This is my take on the concept after I got tired of waiting for "Barricades hurt zombies". That was a fantastic mod, so I wanted to make my own.

P.S. Barricades Hurt Zombies is updated for B42 now. That's the mod that inspired me to make this one, give the creator thumbs up and encouraging words.

This mod simply makes zombies lose health when bashing objects. If you want your constructions last longer, use Sandbox Option "Character" -> "Player-built construction strength".

Specifics
- Zombies hurt themselves when they hit objects.

Sandbox values are available:
- Global damage multiplier, 1x by default.
- Window damage multiplier, 0.2 by default (windows hurt zombies only at 1/5 of strength).
- Wooden barricade damage multiplier, 2x by default
- Metal barricade damage multiplier, 4x by default
- "Lethal outcome". If you disable it, zombies cannot die, they remain at "health threshold" percentage of health.
- "Health threshold". The percentage of the health the zombie can go down to. Only works if you disable "lethal outcome".
- "Bleeding". Determines whether the zombies will leave blood splats or not while hurting themselves.

With default values:
- 1 Zombie can go through 1 wooden plank maximum.

If a Zombie attacks a door/window from the side opposite to barricades, the damage is the same as if hitting the window/door, not barricade.

Supported languages
All languages that come with the game.

Compatibility
- This mod is code-only, you can enable and disable it in your save at will.
- Doesn't modify any vanilla objects or add new ones.
- The only potential conflict is another mod that affects bashing objects, such as "barricades hurt zombies".

Again, it feels like realism is only important to the devs if it's to hinder the player.

Awesome mod. Theres a few around but seems like this one works well.

Are zombies hurt by broken glass windows they climb through? could be a cool idea!

@Deon I think Cheval de Frise was updated on the 19th

Yep, I can make advanced sandbox options for each kind of obstacle.

I will get on with it closer to the weekend, thank you for all the ideas.

@Frank_Horrigan_44 I do not plan to make new tiles within this mod, but it can be a submod if I have time, sure.

@Deon Oh got it.
If you are able to make the damage of these sources independent from each other so we have both lethal and non lethal (with health threshold on) it would be perfect!

can you add some defensive constractions for dis mod, like another one? But some other variation maybe? :P
Deon ☣  [author] Jan 12 @ 2:42am
It doesnt "conflict" per se, but it modifies a similar function. So I think it will deal double damage.

But dont worry, as soon as Cheval de Frise is updated, I will include support for it the same day.

Does your mod conflict with Barricade Hurt Zombies?
I want to use that mod for the Modded defenses only part, so when he updates Cheval de frise, i have them taking care of the lethal damage and your mod taking care of the rest with non lethal damage.

If there are good ideas, sure.
