Report a translation problem
I feel that what you described might not be a problem with the wallpaper itself, but rather an issue with the player. I understand that you mean when the player is paused, the default white color will be displayed. This didn't happen when I used the Aimp music player. When the music is paused, the cover color is still shown. Only when the player is completely closed and the software exits will the default color you set be displayed. Some players might even be judged as closed by Windows when they are paused, resulting in this situation. Maybe you can test more other players to see if there are any differences. I only understand Chinese and I'm communicating with you using a translator, so there might be some misunderstandings in the translation.
If you still don't get me, then don't worry about it. I'll dig into the code and figure it out myself ;) Thanks mate!
e.g. the right side is white when nothing is playing.
Thanks for listening to my feedback! I only comment because I do really love this wallpaper! Very polished!
As for the colour, I'm talking about the right side colour change, how it can do blue/orange/white etc, depending on the song, but when there's no music it's white (not black like you said)? Maybe I'm misreading what you said.
An bonus idea, could you make the clock appear where the album cover is when the music isn't on?
Update Wallpaper Engine, and most of the wallpapers will be updated automatically. If you don't see the new attributes I added, you can unsubscribe, close Wallpaper Engine, download it manually from Steam, and then resubscribe after the update is completed.
I've released an update and added an attribute setting to adjust the speed of text display. As for what you mentioned about changing the black color on the right side, it can't be achieved. Due to the complexity of gradients, the gradient on one layer will present two different effects from that on a customizable layer. I initially did it this way, but the effect was really ugly, so I fixed it as the default solid black color.
