Tigris-Class Corvette

The Tigris-Class Corvette was an attempt to diversify the advanced, but limited DMC fleet. It merges standard corvette operational envelopes such as missile interception and drone defense with a fleet fire support role, making it a versatile escort craft. Tigris-Class vessels are an unpopular assignment thanks to their cramped crew quarters, but they are greatly appreciated in battle for their nimbleness and tactical flexibility. Ships of this class have even been known to bring down vessels much larger than itself with a lucky shot from its railguns, notably the MCS St-Lawrence (AKA "Lucky Louie", which managed to disable a Trebuchet-Class Fleet Cruiser by destroying its reactor room.
