Description
This mod can be installed mid-game.
All features can be enabled/disabled anytime and only affect player.
It only includes automation production methods (green PMs). For auto-applying other PMs, I recommend subscribing this mod at the same time: Auto-Apply PMs

  • Updated for 1.8 and fixed some bugs
  • Apply Rail-Transportation Process will be executed first now.

Auto-Apply Automation PMs
  • Activate automation production methods (PMs) gradually in states that are lack of workforce.

  • Auto-Apply can be enabled/disabled for different types of automation separately.

    1. Basic Automation >>> Electrical Automation >>> Oil Automation
    2. Rail Transportation

  • There are conditions based on local price for changing PMs, for example (PM1 >>> PM2):

    1. PM1 needs 15 tools and 10 coal.
    2. PM2 needs 10 tools and 20 coal.
    3. Only the price of coal will be checked, because PM2 doesn't need more tools.

  • Auto-Apply starts from the building with the lowest levels or (occupancy * level) among all suitable buildings in a state, so that the automation process is smoother and less likely to cause large sudden local price fluctuations.

How to use
  1. Subscribe the mod.
  2. Use the decision "Production Automation Management" to activate the journal entry.

Compatibility
  • No vanilla files were overwritten, so it should be compatible with most mods.

Localization
  • English, Chinese.
    Other languages use English text.

@aquelarrefox It's hard to tell, the in-game tooltip isn't always correct because it won't take the change of demands and consumption after changing PMs into account, but you can find the detailed logic of the script in the images

I haven't noticed extra lagging that annoys me in my playthroughs, but if you are worried about that you can turn the options off after the country is already fully automated, since lagging usually happens in late game.

There are some other automated mods in my collection, but they aren't completely automated, since I find it not worthy to sacrifice performance just for some edge cases or some features that aren't needed frequently.

Any chance for a full automated building AI? One that will take care of the govt construction for the player.
