This mod is a addition to TalkingNPC and makes it compatible with the DayZ-Expansion-Market.

I have expanded the original script and it should be possible to dress the NPCs with custom clothing.

Many thanks to Necro for his preparatory work.

If you use the DayZ Expansion for your server, the Talking NPC mod will not work. This mod more or less provides an interface and makes the Talking NPCs compatible with the DayZ Expansion mod.
If you want to know how to configure it, please follow the instructions/explanations in the DayZ Expansion Manuals:

Finally, you have to configure the dayz-expansion-market and using the class names here from this mod.

I suspect the problem lies in the TalkingNPC.json file in the main mod. As far as I know, the TNPC conversation works independently of the NPC itself, meaning you can have an NPC conversation without having to load the NPC from the server. TalkingNPC.json only configures the trigger points and sounds, not the NPCs. Another problem is that I couldn't find a list of the individual sound files in the main mod. While configuring my TNPCs, I unpacked the main mod and searched for the available sound files. Then I searched the config.cpp file for the corresponding sound shader. To be honest, it was a bit time-consuming, but not impossible. I then entered the sound shader's ID into the main mod's TalkingNPC.json file.

Example: class Talking_SoundShader1069
In the example shader, only the numbers are entered into TalkingNPC.json, so basically "1069".

Hey, thanks for the mod, but I can't get them to talk :D TNPC_Keiko_OC.Vehicle_Parts|7780.50 2.63066 8577.64|72 0.000000 -0.000000| I set them up so they load onto the server, but without talking. Maybe you could help me.

Hey, the mod is running flawlessly with its current functionality.

Stay tuned for the next update!

This might be possible in the next update. I’m planning to add AIs, which should make the quest system with the TNPCs usable. More cool features are planned for the future.

The character overlapping in the main menu/character selection has been fixed.

That's right, the animations are missing. A mod update is on my to-do list. Unfortunately, I don't know when I'll be able to finish it, as I'm working on my own project at the same time. I'm now at the point where I'm fixing and adjusting other mods, including this mod. So don't worry that you've done something wrong, if the trigger works and you hear the sound animation, everything is fine.

The mouths aren't moving. Am I doing something wrong? I have expansion AI and expansion market + talking npc + your mod. It's not doing the animations for Talking NPC. I changed the classes to the classes from your mod inside the expansion trader config. I put the correct ID in Talking NPC config. I can hear the voices from the trigger, but no animations.
