Description
This mod is supposed to go with its partner mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3293834728 but you can use other mods that increases damage

Finally did it after hundreds of hours of playtime wishing something like this exist, mix and matching mods to get something similar is not enough- And when it doesn't exist, someone had to make it lmao

with its partner mod, you should get something close to having immersive gunfights and brutal, fast paced combat without level differences making the game feel excessively RPG-like, but can also be used alone to lower the bullet-spongyness of enemies overall

Decreases the amount of HP NPCs and Monsters have to make combat faster and less bullet spongier:

  • NPCs should start with 50 HP on tier 0, 75 HP on tier 1, then 100 HP from tier 2 to tier 5.
105 HP at tier 6, 110 HP at tier 7, 115 HP at tier 8, 120 HP at tier 9, 125 HP at tier 10.
    x0.5 > x0.75 > x1.00 > x1.00 > x1.00 > x1.00 > x1.05 > x1.10 > x1.15 > x1.20 > x1.25

  • Monsters follow a similar pattern, the scaling should be lower and less drastic on default.
    x0.15 > x0.3 > x0.45 > x0.75 > x1.00 > x2.50 > x3.50 > x4.00 > x4.50 > x5.00 > x5.50

Should be across-the-board compatible with other mods, unless it touches health scaling (npcLevelHealthMultiplier and monsterLevelHealthMultiplier)

anyways have fun lmao

hol on I'm stupid, this mod doesn't increase damage, that's the other mod of this series

still stands. It uses the vanilla tier system and what this does is change NPC/Monster's health according to the tiering

hope this clears things up

@Omen

oh, it's a default feature- ill summarize and explain the best I can

- every planet (besides moon iirc) has a tier tied to it- let's say, Forest, tier 1-2 idk I play modded but its around that range, and scorched planet is tier 5-6 on default, smth like that

- weapons, npcs, monsters, etc generated on that planet, is precisely that tier. Also applies to tiered space anomalies and ship encounters. Every weapon has a BASE damage, and what tiers do is multiply that base damage by that multiplier.

what this mod does effectively, is make every damage more potent, from both NPCs, Monsters, and generated weapons. On default it should be 6.5x, and ramp up slowly but noticably as the tiers get higher, so enemies are significantly less bullet spongey

there are mods that allow weapon grades, like the Common Weapon Upgrade System, tiers up your weapon, upgrading its weapon according to its tier modifier

how do the tiers work, exactly? does it track your current progress on like, how many objectives you've done orrr

Was looking for something like this just the other day because between pandoras box and some other mods which also add new monsters the early game was getting pretty BRUTAL...

Seems to do the job... But gonna try it alongside Tougher Mobs with Better Loot and BL Health/Shields to see how they play together (hopefully well)...

Thanks for the mod!
