This is my take on the Aegis Hammerhead

Hammerhead - Aegis sub-capital patrol gunship:

In March 2765, High Command issued a request for proposal (RFP) seeking a dedicated anti-fighter platform that could serve as both a key element of the standard fleet screen and as a cost-effective patrol ship to replace the aging Guine-class. Aegis Dynamics was tasked with developing this new warship, then identified as PROJECT MONITOR and began ground-up development that November. Six initial prototypes were built by Aegis, with two of these prototypes being delivered to the UEE Navy for evaluation. Structural development lasted eighteen months, followed by three years of construction on the first of six test-bed articles. The result of the prototype program was a highly successful new spacecraft design. Aegis had built a fast warship nimble enough to properly support a battle group while remaining inexpensive enough to be constructed in large numbers.

"No battle group leaves port without at least one Hammerhead included, and they are frequently assigned to station keeping and long range patrol duties. The most significant engagement exclusively involving Hammerheads was fought in 2945, as a ‘full box’ of sixteen Hammerheads flying under a broad pennant encountered a small Vanduul Clan setting upon a squadron of Hull ships. The ensuing battle defied tactical norms, with the group’s Admiral expertly keeping his ships in formation to train firepower upon the enemy destroyers. Three ships were lost and a fourth damaged beyond repair, but the group managed to rescue the endangered convoy and even destroy a far more powerful alien capital ship."

Note: This ship does have some issues with clang.
Note: Please do not ever press P when landing this ship (Don't Park this ship)
Note: This ship, as stated, can achieve planetary flight. I recommend only flying in 1G max though.
Note: I noticed that the h2 doesn't last that long when flying, to fix just connect o2/h2 gen to the conveyors above each side set of thrusters, that should do the trick.

@Sander Hydra , yes it does spin, yes there is clang. But please elaborate on what you mean by "haunted" lol. If you arn't pleased with this ship maybe check out my Aegis Nautilus.

haunted, bugged, spins uncontrollably, turning off gyro or thrusters does nothing to stop it, in fact, thrusters come back on, dunno why???

do not waste any time on this ship
