Report a translation problem
The way it works mostly has to do with the various objects detecting how close they are to each other. When the objects are close enough to each other they set off various variables and timeline animations in each object that cause certain bits of code to run. They are effectively NPCs in a game that plays itself.
All of this is done in JavaScript (or SceneScript, Wallpaper Engine's special variation of it). These wallpapers are the first time I ever programmed anything in JavaScript, so I'm sure people with more experience could make even better wallpapers.
