You have no idea, how much this mod was actually needed to fix the A.I. Well, I suppose you do, since you created it.
I have a question / request: Is it possible to add an option, where the A.I. doesn't expand, but only privatizes what you build?
While it's great to not have them build useless stuff everywhere and only upgrade, the A.I. does still more than not to just upgrade things that aren't needed - nor profitable.
I don't think this would break the game either. The way it would turn out, would be full government investment in projects, but the private sector buying in. It happens a lot too IRL, at least where I live, and can be a great way to expand, as the Government usually holds vast resources for projects - national infrastructure are perfect examples.
1. can_build_government here is just used for restricting government investment from foreign countries. can_build triggers usually only affect what construction options are available but not how AI decides what to build.
2. AI also has gov./private constructions just like players, and they are mostly hard-coded and work differently and separately.
1. Is AI allowed to build its own building only via can_build_government trigger? (before Oct 2024 you used only can_build_private building trigger)
2.Does AI at all have the separation by gov/private construction queues?
