Description
Background

My fourth original map. I left open the possibility of this map being added to the game, but I doubted it would ever happen. A quite small and intense map.


My original TF2 server shutdown on November 15th of 2024. It shut down with a happy ending, only closing after I determined without a proper and conclusive end, my work would not be as meaningful. A finale was had for its last day, as a send-off for my work, my most dedicated players, and what memories were made there.


This map has seen 10+ revisions. This is the "non-chz" version, meaning it lacks any of the music or fun little tid-bits I tend to put in my creations.


I got tired of making somewhat outlandish and extreme maps outside of TF2's original scope, like Cold War bunkers or underwater bases, so I made a classic style TF2 map. This plays sort of like a Quake mod TF map.


Another good looking map. Can't beat a sunset and moody lighting I suppose.


This map was already on the workshop, but is now part of the ChZ collection.

Wow! they got rid of crits the day of my comment, If only valve worked that fast lol. Love the concept for the map :)

This map is too small for CTF cap crits. If you win mid fight the enemy team is kneecapped by respawn time and by the time they're back you would have capped and have crits. Cap once and it's p much instant win since the crits will barely run out by the time you've team wiped BLU.

Very snowball-ey since it's so tiny. Otherwise it's a very aesthetically pleasing map.

Aye nice it was updated, forgot to mention, I love the catwalk balcony spots, walkable ledges, and crawlspaces, it really adds flavour and plays into tf2's arena style gameplay, the map is really fun and unqiue because of it

Played a few bot games, If any CTF map needed crits on cap removed its this one, the first team to cap a point wins the game because they will have crits for the entire match. I DREAD what it would look like in a casual server.

It's very cramped, tho i guess that makes it unique in it own way, it'd be nice if the middle area was extended/larger just a tad bit more with something cool in the middle, maybe a medium sized hot oil pit with fire on its surface so people can fall/be pushed into it, that leans into the whole oil theme and gives the map more identity! It could also have dropped match sticks next to the pit as if someone intentionally lit it on fire

Also I know in your description fancy promos are a crutch, but it can lean into the identity, like a sign next to the oil pit with it's own custom texture, like a mercs hand reaching out of oil silhouette etc, Im imagining how cool the promos can tie into the map design.

Also a small improvement is to use the safety tape textures to clearly state where the capture zone is for newer players, but so far I do like the general theme and look of the map!
