Description
About
Add security turrets or turret likes and something indescribable but might be useful to defense anyway.
Due to the moder's lack of eng writing skills and lazism, this mod used translator frequently and much depends on machine translation. So may have awkward or incorrect translation at ingame description.

With the update from version 1.4 to version 1.5, this mod now has its own C# assembly and its predecessor mod dependencies have been reorganized.

The creation of this mod was inspired by the C&C: Generals mod 'Project 4 033' and OpenRA's mod 'Cameo'.

  • FSthxGPTbox: A collection of classes created using Copilot coding AI for personal use. It is not designed as a general & public-purpose framework, so it is spaghetti and readability is terrible, but you are free to use the contents if you wish.
  • GT_Animation[ludeon.com]: Texture animate tool. Built in this mod is customized to the latest version of RimWorld.
  • Turrets Are Cover: Believe it or not, VOSB's ADVENT turret cover is provided by this.


Note
  • This mod has no CE compatibility. I'm not luCEferium user and lacks crafting skill to make patch. It even added its own spaghetti code after version 1.5, so trying to create a patch may be hopeless.

  • Some turret features in this mod may not work if you use rim73's hediff optimizations option.

  • External sources such as sfx and icon images, etcs used in this mod are used for non-commercial purposes and do not claim copyright as mine.

  • Structures with the gimmick of immediately destroying the corpse of a killed pawn(Singularity of annihilation created by Agent of Ascent, Gauss Flux Arc, Volcanic Incinerator, Vortex of Nexus) may conflict with the DLC's shambler type pawns. This is because the destroyBody logic of the ExplodeOnDeath class and the DeathActionWorker logic of Anomaly DLC pawnkinds contradict with each other.

    Although it is an error that can be ignored, no one likes red lines log, so vanilla shamblers were excluded from the corpse destroy logic. But errors may occur for pawnkinds added in other mods.

    If a 'phase 6 blah blah...~' error occurs with pawnkinds added by someone else's mod's, please report it. If possible, i'll add the pawnkinds causing the error to the corpse destroy logic exception list.

  • With the introduction of own C# assembly, there have been many changes to existing buildings. In particular, the descriptions of structures that provide AoE buffs and debuffs have changed significantly. The effect coverage area of ​​all these structures no longer distinguishes between indoors and outdoors. Please keep this in mind if you are using a fan translation for another language of old ver.

  • Q. Why are there so many dead memes?
    A. This mod has been created and maintained since RimWorld 1.0, so it may be stale a lot.
