Description
Go ahead, call these guys "Stormtroopers" one more time...

Tired of using stiff and limited (player)models for your scenes? There's a new option...

Ladies and gentlemen, behold! A better suited clone trooper model for sceneposing, something many of you have awaited!.

And there's more... This addon comes with a lot of helmets, hairs, accessories, a backpack and a jetpack that you can put on the main clone trooper model using certain tools just like everyone does with the Team Fortress 2 character and cosmetic/hat models as usual, you can see them on the pictures.

With this improved clone trooper you can start the Clone Wars and blast some clankers on every scene you want to make!

FEATURES
  • ValveBiped skeleton with additional bones made by me for the visor and rangefinder, these bones can be adjusted via Advanced Bone Tool or Ragdoll Mover
  • A WHOPPING total of 14 MODELS (1 main ragdoll model, 6 helmet props, 5 bonemergeable effects and 2 additional physical props)
  • Head and face mesh tweaked to look like Seasons 4-7 animated models and onwards.
  • Improved and tweaked textures on the head and some parts of the armor
  • Eye textures made from scratch
  • Posable QC Eyes
  • Extensive faceposing options (59 flexes), to get better results use the Enhanced Faceposer or Eltorro64Rus' Improved Faceposer Tool | TF2 Edition
  • 23 hairstyles with 7 skins (Skins 1 and 2 are paintable) on a single bonemergeable effect.
  • 3 of 4 bonemergeable effects have paintable skins for the pauldrons, kama and other details.
  • Upscaled to TF2 size
  • Original bodygroups along others made by me
  • Fully compatible with the Ragdoll Mover tool
  • Improved physics with shoulders/collar included
  • TF2 lightwarps and shaders included to make the models more cartoonish for show-accuracy
  • Particle attachment points
  • 2 Eyeglint meshes with eye ambient occlusion as bodygroups (one of them is toggled on by default, with a secondary one as an alternative version. Both may require a map with HDR to work properly and DirectX9 mode enabled)
  • 4 skins (two of them has shrunken eyes to make animeesque expressions if you want)
  • Some touch-ups and tweaks to the already-made weightpaints
  • Some hidden features I want you to figure out... Because I'm a lazy bum :P

ISSUES
  • The fingers don't close properly when clenching them apart of being quite long, but the Advanced Bone Tool or the Ragdoll Mover may mitigate this problem may mitigate this problem.
  • The eyeglint/eye ambient occlusion meshes bodygroups have flicker and tearing at far distances, but using SDoF (Super Depth of Field) in your screenshots with the model this problem goes out (apart of SDoF making things look even prettier if you use it well in your screenshots, so win win) and also you can switch them off. Other way is using the Advanced Camera addon and adjust the Near Z slider if you prefer to make larger images with the poster command.
  • Some cosmetics and equipment may clip a bit if you combine too many of them or you put the model into exaggerated or awkward postures.
  • If you have other problems like bugs or glitches just make me know in the dedicated discussion thread below and I'll try to fix them on my freetime.

All the current artwork was made by me, Jonnyhawkeye and YaBoiTomScout, do not claim it as your own or use it without our knowledge. The same applies for other people interested into getting their images displayed on this page.

If you want to make your own clone troopers, like reskins or custom models for posing, I've made this GitHub repository with every file you need without extracting or decompiling the addon: https://github.com/DaniVader97/Improved_TCW_Clone_Trooper

With this you can make from individual clones and specialized custom units to squads, battalions and legions.

@Elpancho The doctor symbol is included on the addon, but the hooded poncho was an addition of the artist by his own

Hello! Sorry for asking a question that doesn't have much to do with the addon itself, I was wondering about the art of the CT with the doctor symbol and the CT with hooded "poncho", even to ask if they are a "addon" or just a puglin. Thanks in advance!:steamhappy:

@「N.c」✠El Bigodon✠ It's a very good one, but also kinda complex to make it look good. Also, clones sporting full beards or other types of detailed facial hair had short appareances on the animated shows.
