What is it?
Ragdoll Mover is a tool that allows you to move ragdolls in a similar way to 3D programs. This also includes IK chains.

Why should I use it?
If you are fine with physgun, then maybe you don't need to use this. But here's a few key features of why you might want to use this in certain situations:
-You can move ragdolls without limitations from the ragdoll physics; you can twist the ragdoll's head upside down without problems.
-When you rotate a bone, it's child bones will rotate with it. So you can rotate the ragdoll's arm like you've welded the lower arm and hand to the upper arm. (Except, as mentioned, without physical limitations.)
-By moving the ragdoll's root bone (usually the pelvis), you can move the entire ragdoll like it's a statue!
-Contrary to bones moving relatively to their parent bones, there's IK chains. IK chains are used to keep certain bones in an exact position while moving, for example, the rest of the body. This is most commonly used with legs and arms.

I'm still confused
Then watch the video! It might clear things up.

Are you going to keep updating this?
I have a remake of the tool in the works, but it's not really a priority right now, so it might take a long time to get it done.

If any bugs occur, report them here.

for now it is done through "manual bone picking" checkbox and then clicking on one of the buttons with bonenames in a list on the lower part of tool's panel

How do you pose the fingrs because in the preview pic it shows fingers being moved trough the mover

maybe try again using it on that map you had the issue on, same place, and see what happens

Actually, never mind. Its working now, so it was either A, the map I was using, or B, my game just had a slight glitch where it didn't load right or something.

As far as I could see and tell, they weren't. I've spawned resized ragdolls countless times before and they worked just fine. Of course, with the exception of ragdolls from the Isle, in which case the tool locked onto them and mass-created errors, but that was fixed with the previous huge update.

ah, usually gizmos appear to not get drawn if the grab point of a bone or entity it tries to access is outside of the map, from what i've noticed. probably that's mostly due to it being behind some entity/map brush, and the drawing stuff gets overlapped by geometry? still trying to figure out how that works

but bones you were trying to manipulate weren't outside of the map, were they?

As far as I recall, last I used it, I resized a a Gallimimus and Struthiomimus ragdoll, lowered them to the ground with this tool so they wouldn't spawn floating in the air, and then saed them as dupes. Then I closed my game and wasn't on it for two or three days before trying to load in today, and finding this glitch.

did you happen to do anything in specific when that happened? perhaps i could look into it if i somehow reproduce it.

I'm noticing a bug where the rotation disk things are invisible on any ragdoll I click on and try to move. They're still there if I manage to click on them, but they don't appear strangely. And the movement arrows I haven't been able to click on if they're there, but are also invisible. It worked just fine a couple of days ago and I haven't gotten any new addons.

Yeah it's sandbox but it does have quite a few addons (though I've tried my best to avoid conflicts and script errors, and it seemed fine until the addon update), I'll start with what I probably should've done to begin with and try just ragmover without anything else, then go from there
