I've been playing for over 100+ hours.
I have encountered a Pirate Relay Post and have made a base inside a mountain.
Finding scrap is now easy with a flyer and a large truck trailer.

I have been at the North pole but I didn't get any spawns of enemies.
I have used all the mods that were with this download and have enabled them.
I also didn't get any Warning - Turn Back signs.

@DeLindsay Of course there are. NPC stations aren't even supposed to be enabled in base ScrapYard.
ScrapYard scenario basically ends when you get to space. TFE just added space scrap cause he felt it was needed. That's it, the point of the entire scenario is to scrap, not buy stuff cause you gathered enough space credits from spawns.

@Rimraid, only the Mods that are packaged with the Scenario. Yesterday I did add 'Trade Operations Coalition' to give more opportunity for random ships since I'm now 100% in space. That's from Splitsie's 'Assertive Acquisitions' Scenario. I feel like it's a perfect fit for a Scrapyard playthrough because you can sell unwanted SCRAP grids to them.

I plan to add the Reavers Mod later on once I know I can fight back well enough, since their ships blow up once defeated thus not giving me an unfair advantage.

The only problem I'm having is NONE of the Stations sell Datapads or Ships, none. I've been to 5 different once now so I'm wondering if there's an MES setting for this Scenario that blocks NPC Stations from selling ships, thus no real opportunity to get a Jump Drive.

After about a dozen hours in Space now (~150 hours Planetside) I can attest that Space is 100% viable for the Scrapyard life. It's kind of like "Hard mode" for this mod because in Space everything seems to shoot back, and often with guns as big as your scrapheap of a ship you flew up with. I'm also getting spawns floating by as close at 1km from me, can literally see them with the naked eye. It makes for some seriously nerve-racking gameplay, wondering if it'll float close enough to wreck my crappy little base/platform so always be prepared for a fight!

FYI for those wondering. The Jetpack "works" in Space, but only barely. However, it's enough to function. I also had multiple Emergency Beacons spawn within 10km from the Asteroid cluster I chose as my Space Base, which itself was ~1km from 0G barrier. Already have some salvage stuff to play with from a large grid Drone (that shot back lol). The movement tool also works in Space but it's a pita as things can get away from you and literally float off into space if you aren't methodical about placement and movement.

Anyone having a growing issue with "Unloading World" while playing (or hitting Continue to start for the day)? I have ~130+ hours into this playthrough and hundreds of items I've brought back to my Base (probably 400+, not counting individual blocks).

tried to convert a hangar into a base but anything i find and then attach to the hangar grid will be gone after even short salvage missions. happened with a wind turbine and large grid large cargo.

Been playing the scrapyard scenario on earth like and enjoying it but really want to play on this world but can not for the life of me figure out how to do it on g-portal server. Any tips?

@Syacelion That means you turned the game's scrap removal back on, it's turned off by default in this scenario because of that exact issue.
I'm not sure why the scrap beacon/cleanup mods weren't included with the scenario, maybe because he didn't want to have to explain them, maybe because of the risk they could break, not sure.

If you want the system like they had on the server you can use the ported version of the cleanup mod by Catopia Rex along with the Scrap Beacon mod. Or you can use the alternate version from Brantje which fixes multi player/DS issues in Catopia Rex' version.
