Now you can send animals to shuttle for some quests which require your colonists, for example pawn lending. But some quests may require pawns aged at least 13, in this case you can only send animals over 13 years old.

Animals that learned hauling will be able to do more work (the animals mentioned below all refer to this type of animals). They can do almost any non-skilled job, from beating fires, feeding patients, and even cleaning. Also the animals will automatically learn to use the nutrient paste dispenser. All works can be toggled on and off in the mod settings.

In exchange, these animals will have a joy bar. Each time they decide to work for you, they will lose some joy. The more joy an animal have, the higher the probability that they will go to work. Animals will use almost any recreational facility you have for joy, but they won't take drugs for joy. Mating or nuzzling will also increase their joy. Additionally, the activity called visiting sick people now includes visiting sick animals.

Just like the vanilla, you can't control the animals to do specific jobs. They work randomly. But now you can cancel the work they are doing, but this will make them lose joy. Only some pawns, buildings, and items that require active interaction to use allow you to force them to work by selecting the animal and then right-clicking. These jobs do not consume joy while they are in progress, but cancelling the job does. Examples includes using mortar, using healer mech serum, taking drugs and many other orders.

What's More:
1. Added a toggle to allow animals to be the owner of the caravan. You can now send a caravan consisting entirely of animals.
2. Added a toggle to prevent animals from eating randomly.
3. Added a toggle to allow animals to participate in rituals.
4. Allow animals to use psycasts and use related stuff.
5. Animals can become mechanitor and use related stuff.
6. Allow to set food restrictions for animals. You can set a restriction for taming and training.
7. Added a ModExtension which supports jobs from other mods.
8. Added a ModExtension which supports to toggle animal usable joys. All vanilla joys are allowed by default.
9. Only a few random jobs are checked in a job tick, so this should not make the game laggy

其他事项:
1.添加了一个开关,允许动物作为远行队的主人。你现在可以派遣完全由动物组成的远行队。
2.添加了一个开关,用于阻止动物随机吃东西。
3.添加了一个开关,用于允许动物参加仪式。
4.允许动物获取并使用灵能。
5.允许动物成为机械师以及使用相关物品。
6.允许为动物设置食物管制,可以设置驯兽专用食谱。
7.添加了一个用于支持其他模组工作的ModExtension
8.添加了一个用于调整动物可用娱乐类型的ModExtension。原版所有娱乐方式默认可用。
9.虽然动物能进行的工作很多,但每个Tick只会随机取几个工作进行判定,因此应该不会导致卡顿。

@lemoncharr 这作者图省事把原版动物ai(指行为树)抄了一遍然后改的,这样做会导致所有修改动物ai的mod都不对它生效,如果哪天官方修改了动物ai也不会对它生效

@lemoncharr 现版本亲昵,配种,参加聚会,参加文化仪式,吃精致或奢侈食物都能给动物加娱乐,你可以先靠这几个手段解决下

@lemoncharr 在过五一,没法看。不过这个模组是在原版的动物ai上做的,其他模组的动物如果有自己独特的ai逻辑,那不兼容就很正常

@Incogmeato If the pet has been trained hauling then that is intended. The mod makes animals learned hauling do more jobs at the cost of that they will have joy need and they consume joy to work.

I think this mod might be the reason why I caught one of my colony pets (a pallas cat) playing chess and sitting in a chair like a human. It didn't cause any errors, and I haven't had any problems, I just wanted to report that it happened. I hope this never gets fixed, it was one of the funniest things I witnessed in that entire playthrough.

When either rescuing or attacking outpost upon entry with this mod on, I would constantly lose the caravan immediately and it would prompt that I lost the caravan without error. Was just entering the outpost with two colonist without a pet in the caravan.
