Mod Summary 🥶 Mod 介绍
This is a challenge mod that implements a more realistic and difficult cold winter survival, with customized temperatures, frozen water sources, and more.

The specific features are as follows:
  • Immediate power outages, with walkers and cold forcing power plants to shut down. Without air conditioning, the biting cold inside the houses will make it difficult to sleep.
  • Water won't come out of the hose, and the water in water fountains and rainwater collection barrels will be frozen unless a campfire is lit next to the barrels.
  • The food and water are all in a frozen state and you need to heat it up and consume it, otherwise it will affect your health.
  • The rivers and lakes are frozen over and you can't fish, but you can walk on the ice.
  • You can take snow from the ground, or ice from the lake with a hammer, and use a steaming pot and a campfire to melt the snow and ice. Of course you can just eat them, but it's not recommended.
  • Difficult to get food by foraging, cold temperatures kill everything and snow buries them.
  • Trap catch probability is drastically reduced and not many guests will patronize your traps anymore.
  • Crops have difficulty growing in cold temperatures, and growth rates, yields, and resistance become extremely poor.
  • The good news is that food doesn't spoil as easily anymore, though composting is also difficult.

Please note that these sandbox settings will be forcibly overwritten and your own modifications will not be valid:
  • Starting month: 12 (to keep the season in winter)
  • Start date: 1
  • Power outage time: Immediately (If there is world power the temperature in the room will be abnormally high)
  • Water outage time: Immediately
  • Precipitation: very rainy
  • Food spoilage rate: very slow
  • Refrigeration efficiency: very high
  • Flame spread: prohibited
  • Enable polluted water prompt: disable (there are so many mods involving water that dealing with pollution adds complexity)
  • Amount of wildlife resources: very poor
  • Days of erosion: -1 (Erosion is prohibited.) Optional)
  • Composting time: 12 weeks (optional)
  • Crop production: very poor (optional)
  • Crop growth rate: very slow (optional)
  • Crop resilience: very low (optional)

Does it support multiplayer?
Not supported. Since I haven't done any testing yet, I might run into unexpected errors.
Does it support adding to old archives?
Not supported at all.
Can the temperature be lower?
Yes, temperature options from 0 to -270 degrees are available in the sandbox settings.
Why does the date stay in December?
To make sure the season stays in winter, if it's in a different season, the mapping of plants when it snows will be incorrect, this is a bug in the original game.
Crops grow too slowly, I want them to grow faster?
You can turn off overrides about crops in the sandbox settings of this Mod and use your own crop options.
What if my bucket freezes?
Place water collection buckets next to fireplaces and campfires to avoid freezing. The safe range is 10*10 indoors and 3*3 outdoors.
What happens when you eat frozen food?
It will give a calorie reduction, a cold recovery reduction, a disease value increase, a poison level increase by weight, and no penalty if eaten heated. Same goes for water that's about to freeze.
Turning foraging on and off doesn't refresh the ground with foraged items anymore?

Can't turn on auto water anymore?

跟漫漫长夜的环境很相似，所以挺期待能尽快兼容多人模式。
