Ever wondered why you can be mechanics level 10 and still be unable to take off a van door or remove the muffler? Surely you'd have figured that out by now.

Instead, you must hunt down the three auto mechanic magazines, which within their pages hold the FORBIDDEN SECRETS of removing car windshields and such.

Well, no longer! Enter this mod.

Upon reaching mechanics level 3, you will be granted the 'basic mechanics' perk from the 'Laines Auto Manual - Standard Models' magazine.
Upon reaching mechanics level 5, you will be granted the 'intermediate mechanics' perk from the 'Laines Auto Manual - Commercial Models' magazine.
Upon reaching mechanics level 7, you will be granted the 'advanced mechanics' perk from the 'Laines Auto Manual - Performance Models' magazine.

Of course, the magazines will still perform their function if you find them early.

One important caveat: This mod will NOT work retroactively. If you load it into an existing save game where you have 3 mechanics or more, this mod will not retroactively grant the perks corresponding to your mechanics level.

This is because the perk is added at the moment you reach the required level, and does not check the player's existing skill level.

However, if you do add it to an existing save and THEN level up your mechanics skill, the perks WILL apply retroactively based upon your new mechanics skill level. I hope that isn't too confusing.
