Engineer League Portable

Description
Engineer League Portable is a new compact and optimized version of my original "Engineer League," a functional version of Rocket League within SE. This was designed specifically to be under 20000 PCU so that it can be built on servers where PCU is limited, while at the same time maintaining the same basic functionality like a scoreboard screen and a winner detector using only vanilla "block coding" without scripts, mods, or DLC.

If you're like me, perhaps you don't know how to set up multiplayer or don't have friends to play with, this version solves those problems, you can move around a server and make friends to play with.

PCU: 16421
Blocks: 7367

Here is how to play:
1. Jump to a location and convert the grid to a station

2. Activate the safe zone, make sure damage is not allowed, shooting can be allowed (stock up on zone chips through economy stations)

3. Bring or build your own small grid ships to play with and start behind your side's goal box

4. Weld a suitable large grid block for the game ball (decoy works well) and place in the middle of the field

5. Manually input a time limit in the Game Runtime timer or turn it off (default is 5 min)

6. Press the green Start Game button, kickoff starts in 10 seconds (be a good sport and wait for "Go")

7. When one team scores, the attacker retreats to their half of the field and the defender starts with the ball at their net

8. The game ends when the timer runs out or you press the red Game Over button

9. Winner gets fireworks and a "W" on their screen and the loser get's an "L", or both get a "T" if tied. (you can stock the fireworks launchers with their appropriate color)

10. To play again, press the black Reset Game button

Notes:
-This is notably smaller, but still leaves some room to maneuver
-Some functions of the original have been simplified to limit the amount of PCU going to "block coding"
-The scoreboard has been split into two screens on either side of the field, each displaying that side's score
-These screens also display the kickoff timer and will animate a checkerboard when a goal is scored
-The clock has been replaced with a simple "hidden" timer
-This version is only "Freeplay Mode" meaning there are no starting position connectors that pop up out of the field like in the original's "Versus Mode", so there is a sportsmanship rule to wait for "Go" during kickoff and to return to their half after scoring
-The same ball is used throughout the game, unfortunately no automatic new ball feature
-Currently, there isn't an explosion when a goal is scored for safety issues (lmk if I should update with that feature)
-The underside includes some basic survival and production, you can expand it as you wish, but try not to delete any timers, event controllers, or relevant physics blocks
-One thing to consider is that the projectors for the goals' transparent panels are currently on subgrids (to prevent them showing buildable) so they can't be welded from the main blueprint with the correct sub-blueprints; you can blueprint 9x4 blue and orange panels and input them yourself
-Similarly, the Entry door must be made manually
-I just learned about how projections actually count toward your PCU limit, so if you're building this alone in a server (with the functionality) you want to weld the block coding first; ideally all the actions will be in the blocks, otherwise there will be bugs

I hope you enjoy this compact version of Rocket League in SE and maybe I'll see you out there on the Keen servers!

I am grateful that Keen saw my previous Engineer League worthy of their August community spotlight! It inspired me to make this version to be more feasibly playable. Check out the original Engineer League here:
