You just got a genetics research lab quest... wait which genetics are we talking about?

No more "genetics", now there's human xenogenetics and animal bestiagenics. Makes clear destinctions in descriptions whether something is referring to Vanilla Genetics Expanded animal genetics or Biotech's xenogenetics. There's also just a bunch of consistency changes and such just to make the mod feel like a part of the base game.

• Vanilla Genetics Expanded: More Lab Stuff - Works with this patch with no text discrepancies.
  
• Alpha Genes - Includes a patch renaming and describing Alpha Genes' biotech lab quests and sites to be more focused on xenogenetics. Just for the sake of consistency and clarity and to contrast the animal genetic labs.
  
• Vanilla Achievements Expanded - Includes a patch renaming a single achievement that referred to "Genetics"

• Should be compatible with pretty much everything, it's just patches.
