Immersive Unit Sounds Submod - The Last Days

*************** Description ******************

This is an audio submod for The Last Days of the Third Age that adds 629 new battle sounds to some of the unit types. The mod adds 147 Dwarf, 164 Elf, 152 Uruk, 117 orc, 11 Gondor, 16 troll, 13 warg, 5 Harad, and 4 Nazgul voice sounds which will play alongside the default unit sounds. The mod also adds extra sounds to Moria and Harad towns' ambiance.

Compatibile ONLY with TLD 2 March 2024 Steam Update / Nightly Patch Version r3979

Not compatible with other TLD versions. Instructions for compiling your own compatible files are included in IUSS_Compatibility_Instructions.txt.




********* Installation Instructions **********

1. Subscribe/ install TLD mod
2. Subscribe to this mod
3. Go to M&B Workshop directory, Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/48700/
4. Go to The Last Days directory: 299974223/ and backup sounds.txt, skins.txt, and mission_templates.txt. Go back to 48700/ directory
5. Go to this mod directory: 3111131266/ then copy and overwrite ONLY the following files into 299974223/ : sounds.txt, skins.txt, mission_templates.txt, and Sounds folder
* Do NOT copy over main.bmp.
6. Run The Last Days

* If main.bmp was copied over and the laucher icon for TLD has been overwritten, a backup of the original TLD main.bmp can be found in the IUSS_Readme_and_Instructions folder. It will need to be renamed.


To update, overwrite with the new files
To uninstall, delete the downloaded files and revert the backup files
