Hello everyone,

Thank you for liking and using the wallpaper I created. Due to my busy schedule in my personal life, I can only pursue software development as a hobby, and unfortunately, I don't have the time to update this project right now.

Regarding the recent issues:
After the latest Wallpaper Engine update, many web-based wallpapers have stopped working. The reason for this is the increased security measures in the new version (codes that display web pages using the iframe method are now blocked). In the future, either Wallpaper Engine will make an adjustment to fix this, or new projects adapted to the current rules will be released.

In the meantime, I wanted to share the temporary workaround I use myself: the version rollback method. I have explained the necessary steps below step-by-step with pictures.

1.On the Wallpaper Engine page in your Steam Library, click the gear icon.
2.Click on "Properties...".
3.In the window that opens, select "Game Versions & Betas" from the left menu.
4.Select "previous" from the list on the right.
5.Close the window using the "X" button.
6.Steam will now start an update process to install the older version of Wallpaper Engine.

I hope this solution works for you!

I miss this so bad, my wallpaper feels so boring without it. The only reason I used this program on my PC.

Version 2.8 is problematic; you need to use version 2.7 or an older version.

I tried the fix MACRICIO posted on the 26th and am now running 2.8.36 and it's still not working. Please advise what to do next. I absolutely love this wallpaper and desperately want it back!

Fix: Web Wallpapers Not Working (iframe block)
A recent Wallpaper Engine update added stricter security that blocks the iframe method web-based wallpapers use to load external pages. Until an official fix arrives, roll back to the previous version:

1- In your Steam Library, right-click Wallpaper Engine.
2- Click Properties.
3- Open Game Versions & Betas (Betas).
4- In the dropdown, select previous.
5- Close the window with X.
6- Steam installs the older version automatically.
7- Reopen Wallpaper Engine and re-apply your wallpaper.

Tip: To avoid auto-updating back, go to Properties → Updates and set it to update only on launch, keeping the previous branch locked.
That's it — your web wallpaper should work again. Note: this is a temporary workaround.
