Ante Bellum - The Lost World

Description
Steam Version - Version 0.7.1 - Build 0 - 9 July 2025

About

In the aftermath of the Second Punic War, Carthage teetered on the brink of collapse. Seeking refuge from the rapacious grip of Rome, the legendary Hannibal Barca boldly led an expedition westward into uncharted territories. Under his sagacious leadership, Carthage defied all odds, establishing a new foothold on the distant continent.

Centuries passed, this new continent have witnessed the rise of Carthaginian dominance through astute trade and harmonious cohabitation with indigenous peoples. Yet, as new threats loom ominously from across the sea, the absence of Hannibal's guiding hand leaves Carthage facing a crossroads. Will they succumb once more to the tide of history, or will they rise united to reclaim their ancestral legacy?

Legacy of Rome
- The continuation of Arkerios's submod combines with my own contents, featuring new missions, events, disasters, cultures, subject types, dynamic province names, factions, government reforms and much more for Byzantium to Roman Empire.
- Updated Persian assimilation bonuses to fit in Ante Bellum lore. Auto-spreading of colonial nation's primary culture.
- Expansion of Rome content into East Asia, restoring Rome by other contenders like Epirus, Serbia, Russian Princes, Rum, Latin Empire, Prydain, Visigoths, Aquitaine and Capua.

Heirs of Alexander
- Expansion of Nicaea into Hellenic Empire, with expanded missions, events, mechanics, Hellenization, Diadochi subjects
- Rework of Government Mechanic graphics, Romanization Menu, new Trade Company upgrades, Game Rules, Rome Preset Colonial Nations.
- Performance optimization: beside many flavors and QoL updates, TLW now also rewrote lots of laggy stuffs from vanilla EU4 and AB. Playing with TLW can much your game MUCH FASTER than playing standalone AB. More flavor events, Game Rules, Nicaea and Persian tweaks. (this has been integrated into AB)

@elbaf They mention it on the discord, iirc it was to reduce bloat. But I agree that Imperium Poloniae was a huge loss :steamsad:

weird when i unite the roman cultures after embracing enlightenment the sub-cultures continue to spawn and the decision to unite the culture can only happen once, is that intentional?
