Timelapse 2023
Using the progress renderer mod you can make colony renders. You can upload these at Rimworld Gallery[rimworld.gallery]. Then click Timelapse 2023 in the main menu, enter the correct path, set your output quality and it will make a timelapse for you. You can upload yours to, for instance, youtube. Feel free to add a link to it to the comments of your render on Rimworld Gallery[rimworld.gallery].

Update: now automatically picks only the latest -alt files

Default output folder: My Documents\Rimworld Renders\

Origin
This mod (2000) was originally made by Epicguru (James B). Sadly, he announced abandoning it in 2022;

Originally posted by @Epicguru:
As of May 2022, I will no longer be updating my Rimworld mods until further notice, although if a new version of Rimworld is released, I may make an effort to port my mods. [...]"

As people are asking for it to be updated and we are now two Rimworld versions ahead, I (TVG) am now (Oct 2023) taking over the maintenance of this mod.

I will not be improving it, just making it work on all Rimworld versions.

Epicguru, thanks for this wonderful mod!

@lecljz could it be that one of your renders is corrupt? Feel free to join our discord and we'll see if we can figure it out

@Laquillare this mod doesn't really have compatibility issues as it doesn't interfere with games being played, it simply takes your render made with the progress renderer mod and makes a video out of it

Could you possibly look into the Mod Deep Rim (Continued) and see if that would be compatible with this mod? I would like to screenshot progression of the surface layer and all sub terrain layers connecting to it. I read that you do not wish to improve it but this would be extremely nice/helpful for those of us that like to build down into deeper layers of our maps.

{LINK REMOVED} I am sorry but the mod depends on an external program for making the video which will only run on 64 bit windows

@Fiendix if you have and use more than 4GB of RAM you don't have a 32 bit system

oh what did you do?
I'll try it out later
