Description
The 1.4 version port of Lemolim Race mod is finally here. To learn more about their lore and features, you can check it out here.

Lems of the Rim: Reborn
Adds playable race of a small petite invasive cat-like alien species with abnormal regenerating powers to Rimworld. While there's plenty of lore about these creatures behind the scenes, let's just say they're certainly not of this (rim)world. They have green or yellow fur, cream colored head/facial hair, and every single one of them have glowing neon green eyes. Though with the addition of Biotech and Xenotypes, there could very possibly be different flavors of fruit kitties.

Changes From 1.3
While alot of the mechanics from 1.3 version are still the same, there are some key differences that this version has. One being balancing some of the work speeds, upping the dreadful mining yield somewhat, giving Lems the ability to prune better though not be good at hacking (if you're using Ideology). And of course this has Lemolim babies and children if you have Biotech.

There's also some changes to the backstories to reflect the forced traits, and to hopefully prevent conflicts, like stopping non-cooks from having cook backstories. And the scenarios have been altered slightly, making the Arrivals one slightly less hard, and giving an extra Lemolim for the Tribal scenario. Also ears are now separate from the head, and will disappear when destroyed, well for like momentarily of course until they start regrowing again.

Minor Issues and Notes
Soulfire is currently a "Birthday Disease" that happens after the first year of the Lemolim's birth.

Currently the forced spectrum based Traits are not working right, this is likely an HAR issue.

While in lore Lemolims are universally compatible, even with inorganic races, and can create all sorts of hybrids, it currently only goes by Biotech logic on what child gets born if a Lem mates with a xeno(type). Also even though they live somewhat longer than humans, their fertility is human base, this is mostly to match the weaker fertility of Lemolims in lore.

All works are enabled for Lem children at the start, having trouble wrapping my head around this one. Work speeds will still be abysmal so keep that in mind.

Mod Compatibility:
I recommend Real Faction Guests as guests/wanderers that are suppose to be Lemolims tend to be humans with Lemolim backgrounds.

Genes that effect the body and head appearance is blacklisted, this however doesn't effect body color or genes that add attachments like wings/horns like from the Alpha Genes mod.

I have missed these little dudes and their cool regeneration. I made a bootleg version of them with biotech and one of my mods but the regeneration they got includes superclotting powers which felt not quite in line with their intended power scale...

I'm still iffy on how kinda jank HAR interacts with biotech but I will definitely re-add these fellas to my dormant modlist.
