Presentation
I think hoi4 has gotten much better as time has passed, however one thing still remains the same as at launch - land units experience system. I think anyone can agree that adding one fresh company to a division of 10k men shouldn't suddenly make them lose 25% of their combat effectiveness. I also think that there lacks effects for deploying green troops and players and AI aren't rewarded enough for rigorous training.

  • The same system as air wing xp-slowly increasing/decreasing instead of binary 25% change is applied to land units. Now you have 10 levels going form Conscript (-45%) to Veteran (+90%). Training your troops is paramount now.

  • The difference between levels is greater, the evidence of this can be found in any conflict, where green troops get destroyed, I'm thinking about 30-40%. At the same time, I think there should be another green level, as there are 3 experienced levels and only one negative. That means you could get a whopping 45% debuff since you decided to skip training.

  • Units should gain experience from combat faster. Getting veteran units is near impossible even with field hospitals apart from the war in China and Spanish civil war.

Compatibility :
Not compatible with any mod that change unit leveling system. R56 is not supported yet

This was done in KR with the Autobahn Nacht 56 mod, which is essentially a RT56 tech add-on. Since the mod description says it's not compatible with RT56 yet, that could be the issue. But worth testing in vanilla for sure

Not sure if it's a recent patch, but I ran this today and I realized that my units wouldn't stop training, even up to War-Hardened and Elite levels. Isn't the cap for training supposed to be much lower?
