Description
JointCom Armoury - Quality of Life Essentials Version 2

DESCRIPTION:
JCA - Quality of Life Version 2 seeks to bring some minor and some larger quality of life updates to Arma 3 while also throwing in some little additions to go with it, we hope you enjoy.

Following feedback given on JCA - QOL V1 several things have been changed and updated for version two, the most notable being the removal of the reworked NVG overlay. Other changes from V1 Include the removal of custom materials from the relevant vests, helmets and backpacks as they were causing mod conflicts with other WS items that rather than make their own base class for items based them off of default items.

JCA - QOL V2 instead is designed to be more focused on basic QOL updates and smaller changes rather than ones that could effect other mods by proxy.


Changes:
▪ Sights:
- DMS sight now compatible with NVGs.
- LRPS sight now compatible with NVGs.
- MOS sight now compatible with NVGs.
- Kahlia sight now compatible with NVGs.
- AMS sight now compatible with NVGs.
- NVS sight now has non-NVG vision mode.
- NVS sight model changed to match TWS.


▪ Bi-pods:
- Removed faction suffix from bi-pods.
- Renamed bi-pods to alpha-numeric designations.

▪ Rail Items:
- Raised intensity and range of flashlight attachments.

▪ Inventory Items:
- Medkit item weight reduced to 1/3 of default.
- Medkit item renamed to "First Aid Kit".
- First Aid Kit item renamed to "IFAK".

▪ Backpacks:
- Changed weights of backpacks to make them lighter.
- Large Rifles can now be stored in the backpack.

▪ Characters:
- Persian identity types have updated materials.

▪ Vehicles:
- Manned vehicle weapons have been stabilized.

Additions:
▪ Attachments:
- New model for and variants of 9 mm suppressor.
- New model for and variants of .45 acp suppressor.
- New model for and variants of 6.5 mm suppressor.
- New model for 7.62 mm suppressor.
- New model for and variants of flashlight rail attachment.

▪ Sounds:
- Added opening inventory sound effect.

Known Issues:
▪ IR Laser (Snake) does not have Snake camouflage (Currently WIP).

Q: Does this mod replace anything?
A: This mod renames, replaces and edits several items within A3.

Q: Will this mod work with other replacement packs?
A: There will more than likely be conflicts with other mods which replace models or edit the flashlight.

Q: Will you make a patch for X?
A: As this mod is designed for QOL, it is the patch .

Q: Will you make this change/feature?

@Marc🦈 i never edited the Zubr
The Zubr/revolver is able to equip a suppressor 9mm/.45 (I forgot which) but doesn't show on the gun model and firing it makes it sound unsuppressed still.

Any chance you can add CBA options to turn off the inventory opening/closing sound?

Mods like TSP Animate and WebKnight's SFX have their own and can be enabled/disabled well. Love everything about the mod so far. :jake::steamthumbsup:

@solusun currently the JCA Gen 4 family, M115A1 and P320 are not finished, once finished they will be added to a planned JCA - Infantry Arsenal

@solusun I know Grave had planned one, however I'm not sure what the time frame of that would end up being, as there is other stuff Grave gets hired to work on.

@Grave, your JCA mod series is really good, can you please make a JCA AIO (All in one) to make it easier to keep up to date for people like me who don't visit workshop often?

Also because of the clutter in the launcher mod section, all in one would make it easier to sort.

Is it possible to have some setting toggle with addon settings? I love the flashlight and suppresor models but allowing nvg/thermal on all big optic is too much
