Compared to most other cities in the "wasteland," the good people of Lafayette have never had too many insurmountable issues. Sure, every now and then another bandit gang or pirate raid will try to take some of our stuff, but that's what the Tenth Lafayette Patrolmen organization is for. No, things have been great in Lafayette for generations, and under normal circumstances, that would probably continue for generations more. But these are not normal circumstances, as a steel-clad dragon is starting to wake in the heart of Texas, and its ambitions fly in the face of the peaceful life the good people of Lafayette have enjoyed for so long. With banditry on the rise in all its many forms, can Patrol Chief Callahan keep his boys together long enough to protect their homes, or will the safest city in Louisiana finally be brought to its knees?

With this second submod (the first being Unity in Texas) built to expand on the greater Texas area, we doubt we'll have reason to revisit these nations until such a time and place as New Orleans gets added in with its own nation. But until then, this submod should give some much-needed flavor to a tragically abandoned corner of the map, and we'll be working on more Texas content going forward.
