Description


Tired of running from tent to crate to locker to barrel and back to find your items? This Mobile Base has it all in one place. This mod is not like your usual base building mod. You need to "construct" a kit and attach items, yes, but after that it's basically a tent... just better.

This mod includes a custom blueprint. As a server admin you can choose to make it a rare object for players to find on the map or you can just offer it at the trader.





🔹 10 locks, 10 keys (Color IDs in item description).
🔹 Get your first key (spawns in base inventory) after placing a base with a kit.
🔹 Now you craft a matching lock with a hammer + sharpening stone.
🔹 Attach the lock and open it with the matching key.
🔹 You can copy a key if you combine it with a lockpick.
🔹 You can bury keys for safekeeping.
🔹 This means there is a 10% chance that you can get raided.
🔹 It's either Codelock or Padlock. Your choice.

CAN BE USED WITHOUT CODE LOCK NOW!

IF USED WITHOUT CODE LOCK MOD - "EnablePadlockSystem" MUST BE SET TO 1 IN CONFIG!



Unlock Ruined Door (Lockpick)
The Base can take damage (Projectiles only). If you damage a Base to the point of being ruined (it will take a long time), you can then use a normal Lockpick to "Unlock Ruined Door". This is mostly intended for Servers that don't allow Codelock raiding.

🔴KEEP IN MIND: Based on your server settings, ruined items might disappear very quickly!

1) Why is it called Mobile Base?
Because you can easily dismantle it with a hatchet and move elsewhere at any time. In order to dismantle it the inventory must be empty, including removing the CodeLock first.

2) How do I build a Mobile Base?
First, you combine 1 Fabric + 20 WoodenPlanks (10 for Small Base) to get a Base Kit. Second, you attach 1 Blueprint, 1 Hammer, 3 Stones and 80 Nails (60 for Small Base) to the Kit. Now you can place the Base like a tent.

3) Why did my Base disappear after a server restart?
As a server admin you need to make sure that you include the types.xml file from the mod folder "Extras". You need to adjust your servers types file in order to get the correct item lifetime.

4) Why are some item slots not working properly?
You have to figure out what mod has custom item slots, then contact the creator and get them to change it from: inventorySlot[]= to: inventorySlot[]+=

Love the mod , but have you tested the spawn select sleeping bags in it , we cannot get them to place down in the cabins or container. anything that can be done about that ?

FIREPLACE ISSUES FIXED. IF IT IS NOT WORKING, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DISMANTLE THE BASE AND PLACE IT AGAIN. I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT THAT. ASK ADMINS FOR HELP

Hey there, I've got a problem after 1.27 update - it is impossible now to start a fire in a mobile base's fireplace (that applies to both variants of MB).
I do place a ready-made fire to the fireplace using the prompt and then it just disappears and there's no Ignite prompt.
The bases are nice, but we badly need the working fireplaces :ramen2:

@Fil, well, not lose, but you might have to ask an admin for a new key that matches your lock color
