Sa'hatra

Description

Sa'hatra is 8km (64km2) terrain featuring a small river, dense date palm forests, mountainous zones, agricultural areas/farms, and of course a large city with two adjacent wings, and much more, such as:

New custom assets.
New & improved custom lighting system.
New 4K resolution skybox textures.
New vegetation.

Sa'hatra is semi-fictional landscape inspired by real world data, and a mixture of middle eastern terrain and architecture. As a city, it is meant to be a small corner of Saddam's crumbling regime, an investment that went dry, a city in the making that was abandoned by investors and the government.

It is a landscape intended to be used for the 2003 US Invasion, and subsequent insurgencies and conflict.

Research
Many people from Goonworks Co. & NORBAT contributed reference photos which helped enormously with keeping this terrain grounded in reality.
Opteryx also contributed in this end with his years of knowledge and research of Iraq and the surrounding areas.

Testers
All of the private testers at NORBAT.
All of testers at Goonworks Co.
(There are quite too many to list right now, will update this later).

Special Thanks
Milkman & JBAD for allowing me to use their modifications and ports for Opteryx's previously unfinished asset releases that they brought to Arma 3.

Opteryx for helping me every step of the way when it came to questions ranging from technical, to reference, to environment, and everything in-between, and inspiring me to continue.

HorribleGoat for doing the same as above, but with just about anything technical.

Bohemia Interactive for the game & engine and documentation.
