United Kingdom of Great Britain and Canada (Kaiserreich Submod)

After years of exile and struggle, the royal family has returned to the United Kingdom in triumph. It is a glorious day for Britain and the Empire, all of whom are thankful to the Dominion of Canada for its valiant service to the cause of tradition and world order. However, as the sun rises over the United Kingdom for the first time in decades, only now do we see what we face. Bombed out homes, bakeries blown to bits, factories and railroads destroyed. In light of the revelation of the challenges we must overcome, some politicians have dusted off a decade’s old proposal for the Empire as a solution to our woes. With Canadian troops lining the streets of cities across the Isles and many Brits in exile feeling more at home in Canada than Britain itself, it has been suggested that we unite the states of Canada with that of the United Kingdom to form a new superstate: the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Canada. Although nationalists on both sides contest the idea, in part thanks to the Kings popularity with the Canadian people, many have come out in open support of this federation. The fate of the Anglo world lays in our hands…

Hey Kaiserreich Canada player. Yeah. You. I bet you’ve at one point thought:

“Man, as much I love the historical realism of the Dominion of Canada staying independent after the Homecoming, kinda feels anticlimactic. I got like, some islands of off this whole thing, maybe bits of America if I didn’t feel like handing them back. Wish I could at least get a formable out of it…”

Well think that highly specific thought no more! Here is a mod you may enjoy! Key word is ‘may’ however, it is VERY basic.

The Imperial Confederation is a formable that requires all the requirements the UK requires to be formed, with the addition of your king having very high popularity. You gain all cores and military units of Canada, but for all intents and purposes is big UK. Like I said: basic.
Additionally, I've added the ability to core historically pro-joining Canada parts of the Caribbean as well as Hong Kong. I am planning on adding the ability to offer 'Client Status' to the Dominions of the Empire to try and represent the confederation nature of this formable, as opposed to a truly Federal state like the real life proposed Imperial Federation.

And yes, I am aware the Britain rework is underway, however I have never made a mod before, and even if this submod is defunct by Monday, this was a learning experience. At the end of the day, I just hope people like this. It leans more towards Kaiserdux, so if you’re looking for absolute realism, sorry.

Latest additions:
- South Africa, Kenya and Australasia can all become puppets of the Confederation by decision. At the moment, this is implemented at a very basic level, so I will look to add additional modifiers based on player decision soon.
