After hundreds of hours of work and several reworks, let me introduce you to the spiritual successor to the "Red Parliament - What if Bela Kun succeeded" mod

Red Hungary presents a world in which the Hungarian communist revolution of 1919 succeeded.


The Hungarian Soviet republic in our timeline was a communist state that was created after Austria-Hungary collapsed in World War I. By this point Romania, Serbia (about to become Yugoslavia) and Czechoslovakia were invading the historical kingdom, and while the Soviet Republic tried to fight them, they eventually collapsed after questionable decisions. In this timeline, the northern campaign against Czechoslovakia is more successful and a counterattack against Romania retakes a large part of the Hungarian Plain. Separate peace treaties are signed with Yugoslavia, and eventually with Romania and the Czechs. By the time the official treaties were signed the country managed to keep its controlled territory and style of government. (Read the Ingame events for more details)

Please note that this is a rushed update of the original mod. I wish to work on a bigger project therefore I do not plan to expand this mod. The thing is, I learned a lot during working on this mod and from todays point of view the code is very outdated and hard to navigate in. In short therms, the mod is a mess. Please execpt bugs.
