Client-side moddification
This mod adds gamepad controls and vibration to the game.

Enable / Disable mod:
Keyboard
  • Alt+J - Enable / Disable Gamepad Input
Gamepad
  • LB+RB+DPadDown+A - Enable / Disable Gamepad Input via gamepad.

Controls:
Gamepad
  • A - Select / Shoot
  • B - Use/Back
  • X - Heath
  • Y - Grab
  • Start - Menu
  • Back - Tab Menu
  • DPad Down - Crouch
  • DPad Up - Toggle Cursor range
  • DPad Right - Crew menu
  • RB - Next item
  • LB - Previous item
  • LT - Aim
  • RT - Shoot
  • Right ThumbStick Button - Crew Command Manager
  • Left ThumbStick Button - Run

Working only with Xbox-Like Gamepads!
For PS-Like or original DualShock, you need to install DS4Windows or else.
Disable Steam Gamepad Input for right work a mod.

Installing Client-side Lua
  • Open hosting menu
  • Select LuaForBarotrauma in ServerExecutable and host a server
  • While hosting, open the console window (most commonly 'F3')
  • Type in or copy, then execute the console command:
    install_cl_lua
  • Restart the game

i have never modded this game before but the mod isnt working. i have followed the instructions and watched the excellent video but its not working. idk what i am doing wrong.

@IcySpartan - Yes, it will work in multiplayer even if you are not the host.
This mod is a "Client-side moddification" and therefore works on the client side regardless of the host client.

any way to make it so im not randomly grabbing every ladder i come across. I cant get across my shit fast enough because it makes me go up every ladder and is extremely difficult to go around
