Ohm's Chess is normal chess except that each non-pawn piece is also a Dota hero that has a special ability that players can use once throughout the game. Examples of heroes and their abilities include -

1. LICH : Sacrifice one of his team's pawn.
   
2. NATURE'S PROPHET : Teleport to anywhere on the board.
   
3. PUDGE : Hook a piece to himself.
   
4. AXE : Force the enemy to capture a piece.

1. No checkmate. Capture the king to win.
   
2. No stalemate. If a player has no valid move, their turn is skipped.

• L.Click : select a piece
  
• R.Click : move a piece to a square
  
• Tab (hold) : switch view to show heroes instead of pieces
  
• L.Click / ability hotkey : select an ability
  
• L.Click : use the selected targeted ability
  
• Ability descriptions containing (▼) indicates they have additional information. Press Alt to view the same.

Presently, there is only one time control -

• 1min pregame time to analyse the starting position.
  
• 15 | 10 : 15min starting time, 10s increment.
