Trajann's Blood Titan of Khorne

Description
Note: This mod is included in my Khorne Compilation. If you are subscribed to that mod then you don't need to be subscribed to this one.

Well here's something a little different, a giant daemonic Khorne mech. I think we're departing the realm of "Fantasy" with this one. This mod adds a new unit to Skarbrand, the Daemon Prince, Valkia, and the undivided Chaos lords!

The Blood Titan is a giant daemonic mech, that serves as both a strong damage dealer, and a buffing unit via a unique skill. Being essentially an avatar of Khorne Himself, the more blood this guys sees being spilt, be it friend or foe, will provide Khorne's forces powerful combat buffs. He's very slow however, and is super vulnerable to being focused by missiles. Once in combat though he can be a real force of nature, shedding apart entire infantry formations.

For Skarbrand and Daniel, he can be recruited via normal building means. For the WoC, an additional mod is required to enable local recruitment from buildings. Once enabled, the unit will appear in buildings within Dark Fortresses. If you have no intent on playing the WoC, this mod can be safely disabled.

I will say, this guy airs on the janky side. Because I built him with literal pieces of machinery, rather than proper arms/legs/body etc. the animations are a little off. Nothing super bad, but you will notice that his arms and head act a little funny. Not everything lines up quite right, that's just the nature of things when you make a unit out of bits and pieces. But I still think the end result is really good, and I'm super happy with him as I've never done anything like this before. This guy is purely just a fun meme unit, I doubt this has any lore basis whatsoever. But at the end of the day, fun is what's most important, right?

As always, any feedback or concerns you have is always appreciated, and I hope you enjoy!

I'm not an artist. The unit cards are as a good as they're gonna get.

Mod has been updated with slight stat adjustments, as well as bringing the unit to Daniel and the undivided lords!

It can be recruited just fine for Skarbrand, you likely have a mod compatibility issue, or you can try unsubscribing and resubscribing.

I was talking about the Skarbrand faction that doesn't have a golem

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what faction you're talking about?

I can't recruit this golem while playing treasurerand, but valkia is able to, so would it be possible to add him to the treasurerand faction?

I'm going to defend the lore basis of this! Using the mutation tables from the 3rd edition book Slaves to Darkness , you could in fact turn followers of chaos into giant robots. Get a result of Growth * 4 (a 1/400 chance on a roll), and a result of Mechanoid, with subrolls for completely mechanical and keeping legs as a robot (another 1/400 chance on a roll).

Khorne also used to hand out high-tech equipment to his followers in that edition, which could include weapons from the 40K setting, so giant robots don't seem out of place in that regard either.

hmmm, this ones a bit too big in my opinion. By the looks of things, humans only reach the ankle of it lol
