u can see up in screen camera mode key . i don't remember if was b or something else but u will see it in right of screen up

if u on pc . then click b when u building it will take u to camera mode

This shit is beyond me, I dont even know how you changed camera modes to free look. I'm trying to do this shit in 1st and 3rd person and can't stand to keep at it for long enough to make somthing worth while, had the same problem with fallout 4
