Description
As i was gathering the assets to make this pack, i realized that 90% of everything here was coming from Chimera Squad.

So, i guess two years after the Sacred Coil Pack finally comes the 3rd Chimera pack: Sectoids.

You can also find this mod at Nexus Mods. [www.nexusmods.com]

INCLUDED SETS:
  • Birthday Suit Sectoid (M, Head, Torso)
  • Sectoid Civilians (M, Face Props, Torso, Legs)
  • Progeny Resonant (M, Torso, Thighs)
  • Shrike Shaman (M, Torso)
  • Shrike Necromancer (M, Torso, Helmets)
  • Gray Phoenix Paladin (M, Face Props, Torso, Legs, Thighs)
  • Gray Phoenix Dominator (M, Torso)
  • Gray Phoenix Tribal** (M, Head, Torso, Helmets, Face Props, Shoulders, Forearms)
  • Verge (M, Head, Torso)
  • Sectoid-Scaled Reaper & Skirmisher Gears (Torso Gear)

**I don't actually know his internal name, i couldn't find it anywhere in the Chimera SDK. His home package was named "Sectoid_Gray_Phoenix" and that's all i got, so i gave him my own name.

FEATURES:
  • Every Sectoid variant from X2 and CS
  • Body Parts for almost every category
  • Facial Animations
  • Colorable Skin & Eyes
  • Tintability for nearly every part

The heads in this pack feature facial animations. Yes, i actually managed to fit them onto the XCOM face rig. This is why they're smaller than the XCOM heads, i had to do a bunch of re-shaping to them.
Their eyes are also fully colorable. Yes, their eyes actually have color to them, they're not just beady black orbs, they have a faint circle of red in their eyes when you look at the default Sectoid's textures.

Most of these sets are one-piece torso parts, but some sets feature modularity in places i could squeeze it in. Everything here is tintable to some degree, except the Necromancer 'cause i like his edgy all-black appearence.

Unfortunately, most of these parts aren't compatible with regular XCOM soldiers.

On the flip side, the Sectoid heads should work fine with mostly anything, provided there's no human skin showing.

Verge's head isn't shaped the same as the regular Sectoid head at the base, so while he should be fine with the other outfits, he'll be hard incompatible with the base sectoid and tribal bodies.

REQUIREMENTS / SUGGESTIONS:
  • Community Highlander - REQUIRED for the heads to work without crashing.

  • Invisible Body Parts For All - REQUIRED for the invisible arms, legs, and so you have a way to take off auxillary body parts.

  • All Armour Avenger - Soft required, because without this, all your sectoid soldiers will use the human underlay uniform when spawned on the Avenger, which will look really stupid.

KNOWN ISSUES:
  • The heads in this pack all use custom eye textures, so if you use EYExtender it'll forcefully overwrite those textures and give you a horrible sectoid monstrosity with hyper-realistic human eyes.

No. These are all Sectoids converted to the human skeleton, they wouldn't work with playable aliens where the sectoids are using their own skeletons.

Oh I just saw your response. Though is it compatible with it? If it isn't then that'd be weird since I'm completely sure they were just naked like normal sectoids before I installed it.

Also, this is an issue because the aliens of that mod just aren't customizable at all. I can only get the option to customize their weapons and names. Maybe I'm missing something?

No, it's meant for regular soldiers, i meant that they don't work very well with regular human body parts.

I assume this is mainly for "playable aliens for xcom 2" since it's stated some of these don't work for regular soldiers. Dunno if it's just my weird luck but all the playable sectoids from that mod I've encountered have the same clothing, being some green sweater, black hand/arm wraps and black trousers with kneecaps.
Granted, I've only encountered 3 but still.

Is it possible to fix Verge's head's size?

@Max I was surprised that the parts appeared on character pool soldiers. I thought their appearance was set.

...Yeah? That's gonna happen, these parts are for regular human soldiers. Any soldier wearing these parts is effectively a human cosplaying as a Sectoid, internally speaking, so of course these parts will sometimes appear during soldier gen.

@Max I had Verge body parts appearing on my character pool soldiers, humans.
