A net gun is a non-lethal weapon designed to fire a net which entangles the target. It is good for catching escaping prisoners.

This mod add a new Hediff called "Entangle", which has the following effects:

1. body size 0.7 (e.g. chicken)
- reduce 85% Moving speed
- reduce 50% Manipulation

2. body size 1.7 (e.g. human)
- reduce 80% Moving speed
- reduce 30% Manipulation

3. body size 2.7 (e.g. Muffalo)
- reduce 60% Moving speed
- reduce 20% Manipulation

4. body size = 2.7 (e.g. elephant)
- reduce 40% Moving speed
- reduce 10% Manipulation

5. Mechanoid
- reduce 20% Moving speed
- reduce 20% Manipulation

These effects will last for 1800 to 7200 Ticks (30s to 2m in real time).

The cost of the gun is 50 steels and 4 components.

@Dust I would say the gun is not affected by any armor as it shoots a large net over the pawn. For the duration of the entangle is really a design-decision by the original author

To clarify, they could rescue him, but the entangled status seemed unremovable?

Is this supposed to bypass armor and just down pawns? Because I had my super armored melee pawn just get "knocked out" for an hour because a net hit him. Allies couldn't remove it, or help, just took him out of the fight instantly.

Net belt as extra cloth item is weak/unusable as ... squirrel's finger. Very short distance, very long preparation time.

Just wanted to add awesome mod. I see theres a net belt with grenades. Could stand-alone grenades be added as well? Would go great with weapon swap mods.

It's cool when AI pawns use the Net Guns and trying to slow down melee enemies :yay:

I have small design idea. Moving Net Belt from "Apparel/Extra Equipment" to "Weapon/Grenades" group, because it fits ingame mechanic and similar visual style.
