Description
All credits go to Nicolas and DARKSNAKE for making the original mod and ATATURK JUMPSCARE; this is simply an updated version of the original mod and taking the mantle of succession to update it.

Updated to 1.14 (don't worry when the update is out) and compatible with No Step Back, By Blood Alone, and Arms Against Tyranny (for plane and tank stealing operations)

Are the La Resistance DLC spy mechanics different from your cup of tea? Do you prefer the mechanics for mods or past games? If so, this is the mod for you; it takes the old "Espionage" mod and brings it up to date by removing the DLC spy mechanics.

Changes
The original mod is Espionage; however, some changes were made from the original mod to make it more compatible with modern HOI4

  • Changed supported version.
  • Fixed version-related errors.
  • Minor Localisation improvements.
  • Fixed research, resistance, and volunteer local missions.
  • Fixed encryption focus.
  • I removed the support resistance button to avoid overlapping with new GUI elements.
  • Made infiltrations easier to pull off.
  • Made spy universities cheaper to build.


Reasoning

With this system in place, you can use the two spy systems as the same unit and divide the tasks between them depending on your preference. If you find one aspect lacking, you can always revert to the other and thus have an exciting experience.

Sorry for being a bother, but is there a way to get spy efficiency up to 100%? I haven't found any way to do that, and it seems like 55 is the highest you can go.
