Babylon 5 Minbari Fighter ("Nial" aka "Windstar" Class)

Description
This world contains a Minbari “Nial” class fighter from the Babylon 5 television Series ready to be copy/pasted into your own worlds.

Like all of my Babylon 5 models this ship was designed to be as close to the original as possible while still being practical/useable in-game in Space Engineers. Thus it should be roughly to scale with the other B-5 ships in my workshop (which should all be *roughly* to scale). It also means that this ship is connected up with conveyors/etc complete with connecter for landing/resupply from a larger ship or base.

This ship is armed with 6 gatling guns (since the Minbari tended to use more cutting style weapons than explosive weapons I decided this was more accurate but of course you can modify it to meet your needs) as well as 3 ejectors which are set up to eject stones/other debris as a sort of electronic-warfare suite to distract enemy auto-turrets). It's main power source can be found in the form of multiple batteries, though it does have a single small reactor meant to act as an emergency backup/means to (slowly) recharge spent batteries if the ship is stranded in the field for an extended time).
I have separated the batteries into 2 groups in the control panel so that you can have one group charging off of the backup reactor while the other group is powering the fighter and then easily switch the two as needed.

I may make some small changes to this fighter in the future; I am not sure that the paint scheme is quite right and I will likely toy with that some but since a Minbari ship was specially requested by one of my subscribers I wanted to go on and post this before I have to leave town for the weekend. (if someone figures out a more accurate paint scheme please share it with me since I've had some trouble settling on one). Additionally, in the future I may add a version of this fighter to this world with some extendable landing legs (such as seen in B-5 season 5, Episode 15 “Darkness Ascending”) if there is any interest -I have a build with those included at present but since pistons are still unstable I decided not to upload that particular build unless there is some interest from subscribers to this workshop item.

As always I hope you enjoy and I would love to hear your feedback on it.

I'm glad you enjoyed this ship!
I'm afraid I haven't seem Space Above and Beyond myself so I don't have any ships on my workshop from it but if you search the workshop using some keywords from that series hopefully you'll find something. I know I always try labelling my B-5 ships with "Babylon 5" to make them easier to search for so with luck people doing Space Above and Beyond stuff will think to do something similar.
Good hunting :)

I'm happy to hear you like it! To be honest this fighter has been the hardest B-5 ship I've attempted to make yet so I wasn't feeling very confident about them.
I'm glad there are other people interested in B5 stuff here. In the longer term I have a few larger B-5 ships I want to build and for now I'm working on getting a 'collection' of sorts of the various B-5 fighters I have made uploaded so feel free to check out my workshop from time to time in case you find something else you'd like. Some of my ships are better than others but I'm happy to listen to comments (both positive as well as helpful suggestions for improvement) .
(I'm also open to considering requests -so long as I think I can build it and it sounds like fun to me I'll probably give it a go- so if there's a B-5 ship you're itching for let me know).
