Description
Function
Adds more realistic hit or impact reaction and sfx to vehicles when they are hit by projectiles.
Works with all vehicle mods and DLC's.

Legal Stuff
Credit must be given on both the Steam Workshop page and within the mission / derivative work if published to the Steam Workshop.

Dependencies
No mod or DLC dependencies.

Where the !#*&* does Steam store these scenario files?
Look here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<8 digit number>\ugc\referenced\<19 digit folder>

Installation
Place the following line into the init.sqf
[] execVM "ROS_hitreaction\scripts\ROS_HitReaction.sqf";

Place the following line in the onPlayerRespawn.sqf file :
player removeAllEventHandlers "HIT";

Place the ROS_hitreaction folder into your mission root folder.
Add the CFGSounds sound classes from the sample description.ext into your mission file with the same name

@LegendWood I'm working on a mod version of it, with permission to use sounds from a War Thunder soundmod and Rickoshay.

God damned, I finally found this mod that improves the impact effect of shell on vehicles, which have been terrible since Armed Assault.

I really don't know why they ditched the impact effect in OFP.

BTW, if only somebody could turn this script into a MOD so we can use it in any missions.

No, I'm asking if this mod will ever be made to work without needing to put scripts for it into misssions. Will that be done or attempted at some point?

Hope a mod version comes out that auto-starts for any SP/MP mission/campaign/etc (much like Freestyles Crash Landing for players and AI). This would be so awesome to have. :jake::steamthumbsup:
