29. SS-Waffen-Grenadier-Division Uniforms

This mod adds 15 (early 1944) uniforms for FoW, ranks SS-Grenadier to Sturmbannführer for the 29. SS-Waffen-Grenadier-Division.

This division was deployed from April 1944 till April 1945. The unit only saw combat in Italy surrendering in Gorgonzola Italy in April 1945. The red parts of the uniforms stand out especially, after three battalions of the unit fought against the Allied bridgeheads of Anzio and Nettuno with outstanding performance they were allowed to wear black markings like the rest of the Waffen-SS and got fully integrated into it. The members of this unit were known as Legionari, parts of them coming from an Italian elite Paracadutisti (Paratrooper) unit.

During it's exsistence the unit had five different names:

italienische SS-Freiwilligen-Legion
1. Sturmbrigade italienische Freiwilligen-Legion
Waffen-Grenadier-Brigade der SS (italienische Nr. 1)
29. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS (italienische Nr. 1)


This mod is only possible thanks to the past work of the FoW Team.
I highly recommend to use this in conjunction with FF Telo equipment, as this Division persisted out of Italians and wore alot of Telo Zeltbahn.
I will be adding the post May 1944 black marking uniforms and tan versions of the uniforms.
