This image links says clemson but it's actually of the cleveland.

The big reason I suggested the cleveland is she, the unique cruiser wichita (heavy) and baltimore (the heavy cruiser) were based on the st louis class hull shape (light cruiser).

This is in comparison to the new orleans and earlier class heavy cruisers which had their own shape and of course the atlanta which was a unique one-off shape.

You be the mod maker of course so I'm only giving suggestions based on me being an bloody nerd rather than making any demands.

A cruiser is the hardest to do as it has the most equipment and needs a lot of places to set up. The Atlanta hull is great for that.

But ... maybe you're right ... I'll think about it

US cruiser is ready. "Cruiser designer" is Atlanta-class

Can I suggest the cleveland class for the cruiser? it's hull is similar to the baltimore.
