A_Books Break Mod

Description
multiplayer compatible
A Books break now mod
When a player starts reading a book, the book will recieve a randomized condition. After every 40 pages, there's a 50% chance to damage the book.


Options
  • Notifications (these will tell the player what settings are currently enabled when the player starts the game)
  • Adjust reading time
  • Minimum Condtion
  • Maximum Condtions
  • Pages read to reduce condition
  • Only random chance to damage book when reading it
  • Configurable chance to damage book when reading it



I hate reading and I hate books! This mod will make it so that I don't read as many books.

Honestly, I've been trying for 2 years to make something like this, but for the novels found in-game for boredom reduction. I wanted to make them have uses because bruh, a whole book in an hour? Are we just reading the first chapter and then eating the book? You get me.

I love the idea for this mod, but no matter how I change the sandbox settings the books lose condition every 42 pages.

Yeah, you can configure the aggressiveness in the sandbox settings

I mean... great idea but only when the character reads himself? Man they must have been reading very furiously.

there are no programs, just using other mods as examples, vscode(or notepad++) and start the game with -debug option

I have used this mod before, but was forced to abandon it because of the alternative toilet mod, because otherwise there was a conflict. I wish you could create what I asked for, but thanks anyway.:steamhappy:
