Description


Welcome, Inspectors!
This addon brings smooth, immersive weapon inspection function as seen in many new games into Arma3.

This addon is also signed and ready for MP Use.


Feature List
5 different inspections will be available:
  • Primary weapon inspection
  • Secondary weapon inspection
  • Launcher inspection
  • Binoculars inspection
  • Throwables inspection

CBA Keybinds (ALT + I by default. You can change in CBA addon controls menu)
Vanilla and ACE compatible (ACE Self Interaction -> Equipment -> Inspect Weapon (EIW) )
Works with any item from the above 4 categories
Works with Zeus remote controlled units

Notes
  • Arma3 skeleton has no wrist bone, so binocular inspection wrist looks a little weird
  • Inspection only works in crouch and standing stances

Future Plans
  • Add functionality for the inspection action e.g display barrel temperature and round count! (ADDED)
  • Grenade inspection??? 👀 (ADDED)
  • Inspecting sound effects
  • Explosives and mines inspection??? 👀

I can confirm inspect weapons works only one time - then it will simply open the inventory.

Nice one. Maybe some day come true, thas round-count does not need ACE. That would be immersion super plus for none-ACE-players. Nonetheless a nice to have mod. :steamsunny:

Good mod, except for the fact that I cannot inspect the weapon after I do it 2 or 3 times. It just starts opening my inventory instead.

Great Addon! Very Good! The inspection animation is great, and supports telescopes, throwing weapons, and rocket launchers.
However,Inspect weapons when switching weapons,I encountered the same problems as @C.Ritter without ACE addon .
(...Good addon, but seems like you can't inspect twice, only once unless you restart the mission...)
The operation that Enable the ace3 addon and enable this setting of ACE Indicator Displays : Round count... can solve the problem。
It seems to be a conflict between the inspecting animation and the switching weapon animation.And it's not enough to turn on the ace module, you have to turn on the ACE Displays setting.
