Also, that's a great idea! But I personally don't have much experience making particle systems from scratch and are unsure where to find textures...
Nonetheless, I'll take this into account for my future wallpapers and see if I can improve performance :D
First, amazing wallpaper!
As someone who tries to run this on low-mid range phone, I appreciate the animation toggles.
If I may give some feedback on performance options zhough (It's been about 2 years since I've worked in WE editor), from my previous experience a lot performance impact comes from individual instances or particle count, for example: if you instance every single raindrop that can have a performance impact. Consider using several different "textures" which each contains several raindrops painted on them and generating those instead.
(Or for simplicty, raindrop density slider.)
Similar thing applies to clouds.
Otherwise I love the composition and atmosphere of this one!
