Description

Hello all togther !

This road here is specifically designed for the Metrover - Series by Blue Thunder
and Zekiarsu.
I tried to "copy" the typical look of some "road types" located in Australia / New Zealand.
Therefore, these road(s) use australian/nz looking traffic lights, road arrows and the newly
created metrover - stop props for their overall look.
(all props are listed as depdendencies on the right)

In order to keep the roads a bit more "versatile" and usable for other "themes/locations",
I added/kept an alternative prop - setup. The "needed" props for that can be
found in the description under dependencies.
With the help of the Adaptive Networks - Mod by kian.zarrin, you are
able to "activate/choose" these alternative props, which are the vanilla traffic lights,
vanilla road arrows, my own simple bus stops, traffic lights
and road arrows.

The listed dependencies on the right side are the ones, these roads have as their
base setup.

Important Nodes

  • thanks to Kian´s update of AN, this road now works with the AN - stable version

  • I REUSED a lot of textues, I already used in other roads
  • especially all the LRT textures
  • 32 meter Version
  • dedicated Tram Lane
  • 2 Drive Lanes
  • 1 Parking Lane
  • Ground and basic Bridge Version
  • Tram Stops only possible on the "Stop Segment"
  • various prop - setups
  • Vanilla Rails available
  • reversing Trams possible via rv - Tram AI mod by sway
  • Bus Stops on both Elevations
  • Australian/NZ Design
  • created for Blue Thunders and Zekiarsus Ride/Metrover Series
  • TMPE and a Node Controller Version are highly suggested to be used for/with this road
  • ALL props can be deactivated via AN options
  • etc.

  • Overview of all Customisation - Options

There is one option missing on the pic ... you can deactivate the Metrover - Stop
Props and then customize the stops yourself.

  • How to create tram stops with the "stop" segment
  • in order to created tram stops, the second road is needed
(i´ve done it that way, to achieve the "shifting" of the drive lanes.
This is (currently) the only possible way to do that in the game)
  • connect both of the roads
  • change the node between them to "custom"
  • decativate pedestrian crossing
  • and activate the AN Node flag for that road

  • if you´re also using the rv. Tram AI - mod, then you can also
customize the track connections via TMPE.

  • AN - SegmentEnd / Node - Options (Examples)
  • remove zebra crossings
  • create a "continious" median
  • etc.

All dependencies are listed on the right side of the descriptions.
You can take a look at them via the links down below:

  • Australian Traffic Signal Pack by BillionPenny483
  • Australian Arrow Decals Pack by Hafiz
  • Bus + Tram Stop Signs [Modern Style] Ryde: Metrover by Blue Thunder/Zekiarsu
  • Bus Stop Shelter Pack [Prop Version] - Ryde: Metrover by Blue Thunder/Zekiarsu
  • Sightseeing Bus Stop Prop- Southern Cross Sightseeing by Blue Thunder/Zekiarsu

These here are the "additional" props, which are used for these roads.
They can be activated via AN - Options.

  • Traffic Lights (LSM optimized)
  • Road arrows Pack
  • Tram and Bus Shelters (LSM optimized)
  • Tram and Bus Signs by Pewex
  • rv. Tram AI - mod by sway

The Road will work without any of the props, BUT the Adaptive Networks
is absolutely needed!
Without it, this Road is just a "mesh mess" :P

As always ;)

Loading Screen Mod - created by thale5, fixed and updated by Klyte45 and
now maintained and improved by algernon.

  • almost all (currently) available road networks use the same texture set

I´ll add them when they are back ... ;)

If you like this addition to the workshop... and you want more,
you could give it a thumbs up. :) That would be very much appreciated !!! :)

Hi. I dont think that I'll do that, because there isn't much demand, plus you'd need an extra mod, which would handle the "AI" for such tracks. Sry ...

Hello I have a question. Will there ever be the possibility for you to create a 2 way version of the normal single track LRT Tram Track?

Hi. I removed the link, because I've reverted back to the initial version of the upload, after the update failed. I'll do another update in a few days ...
The missing connection should actually work.... this issue has been fixed in the newest AN version.

The link how to fix the connections is dead. Im also experiencing missing connections to rather standard roads.

Hi. Just verify/check your game files via the steam options or unsub and delete the folder on the hdd manually and then resub ... sometimes the steam update function doesn't work...

I did an update yesterday, which unfortunately failed ... therefore i reverted back to the previous version, which worked well. I've tested that at my end without any issues.

from Debug Output "Australian/NZ - Road#03 is not installed properly. Please try reinstalling it!"

reinstalling does not work

@all

I´ve done an update and removed the "AN - track - feature" ... and (re)added "classical track meshes". This might fix some missing track connections, but not all of them.
Down below you´ll find a quick guide on how to activte the track switches (rv - Tram AI mod)
and how to "fix some connection issues.

Hi and thanks ! :)
The... by far, biggest "problem" with your suggestion is my "AN addiction" ... and this addiction is even getting worse. ;P
To put that in to perpective ... my current "project" is way more complex than this one and well, that could be a problem ... although, the "only" short term fps drops I experienced, are during the "loading time", after clicking on the segment...
So basically the same thing you described... so far, I haven't had any freezes or crashes of the game etc.
But, I'll definitely keep your proposal in mind and try to limit myself ... Maybe there will be "different" versions of some roads in the future (fingers crossed)... but I can't promise anything.

Hi there,
Can we have a somewhat simplified version or AN-free version of AU/NZ roads? My PC is simply not good enough to run the AN plugin itself. Whenever I attempt to open your road with AN, the game FPS will drop to 1FPS and shut down itself from time to time. Really like your style and really miss your old assets, since all of which are AN-free.

Many thanks ! :) Btw ... the designs/ideas came from Blue Thunder and Zekiarsu.
Regarding your question ... in theory, something like that should be possible ... but only the way I did it with this road(s), which means, at least two separate roads are needed, plus the need of the AN mod. With a single road this wouldn't be possible within the bounderies of this game.
