Japanese train - JR east Series E231-0 for Chuo-Sobu line - made by Gombe

Hi, I'm Gombe. Since I made the E231 Series 500, and made a new one.


　-Series 209-500-

　At the end of the 20th century, the Series 209-950 started trial runs on the Chuo-Sobu Lines in October 1998, as a prototype of a new commuter train to replace the old Series 103, 201, and other old-type trains. However, its mass production couldn't be completed in time, and initialy they were
manufactured with the old fleet. After that, some trains were transferred to the Keihin Tohoku Line, etc., and they are currently in operation on the Keiyo Line, Musashino Line, and Hachiko-Kawagoe Line.

　Also, although the design of the car body is almost identical to that of the Series E231 cars, there are differences in the color of the face, and the position of the JR logo mark, etc., and they are called as Series 209-500. Od course, although real cars have differences in the running sound, I didn't put it on this MOD this time.


-Series E231-0-

　In March 2000, it was stearted to mass-produce of the series E231-0 and introduced on the Chuo-Sobu Line. At later, more E231-0 trains were added to the Joban Rapid Line, and E231-1000 for the Tokaido Line, E231-500 for the Yamanote Line, E231-800 for direct subway service, and Series E531 for AC service were also introduced based on this series.

　Around 2015, the new E235 Series began to be added to the Yamanote Line, and the E231-500 was transferred to the Chuo-Sobu Line. In the form of being driven out by this, many of they were transferred to the Musashino Line, Hachiko-Kawagoe Line, where they remain to this day.
